Hospital Accreditation Information
By demonstrating compliance with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization’s national standards for health care quality and safety, Kalispell Regional Medical Center has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™. The Joint Commission's (JCAHO) survey process evaluates the organization's compliance with these standards every three years. The most recent on-site survey of Kalispell Regional Medical Center took place in September 2006.
Founded in 1951, the Joint Commission is dedicated to continuously improving the safety and quality of the nation's health care through voluntary accreditation. The national JCAHO standards are intended to stimulate continuous, systematic and organization-wide improvement in an organization's performance and the outcomes of care. Accreditation serves as proof of a commitment to provide quality care on an ongoing basis, and to continuously raise quality and safety to higher levels.
